Our Behavioral Health Clinic provides evaluations in competency and cognitive function and the use of proactive treatments for adolescents and adults with behavioral health needs.
Short term or ongoing behavioral health support is provided by certified Social Workers, Psychologists and Psychiatrists.
CP Rochester’s Behavioral Health Department is excited to announce the start of group therapy as an added service. Two groups will be offered; Healthy Relationships will start in the fall and Anger/Stress Management will be offered in the spring. These are open to adults and will include an educational component as well as therapeutic.

Each referral form will need to be completed and returned one month prior to the date of the group. All referrals will be reviewed by the Social Work team. Those that are appropriate will be contacted for an intake.

April 13th- May 18th
- Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Limited number of spaces per group.
- consumer should be able to participate in the majority of sessions.
- The referring provider will be responsible for arranging transportation if needed.
- Any special personal care will be the responsibility of the caretaker.
**ALL sessions will be held CP Rochester at 3399 Winton Road South in Henrietta.

The American Psychiatric Association Recognizes S. Izhar Mustafa, MD
For Excellence in Medical Student Education
S. Izhar Mustafa, MD was recognized by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) at their 2008 Annual Meeting in Washington DC., with a Nancy C.A. Roeske, MD Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Medical Student Education. The certificate is presented annually to APA Members who have made outstanding, sustaining contributions to medical student education.
Dr Mustafa has been a part of CP Rochester’s Behavioral Health Services Team since 2006, providing psychiatric services at two of our satellite clinic locations. We are indeed fortunate to have such an accomplished professional as part of our staff.
