Family Support Grants
These grants exist to help an individual with a developmental disability continue to live with their family. All grants listed below are funded by OPWDD. CP Rochester offers the following Family Support Grants:
Family Reimbursement

This grant offers financial assistance to families. It can be utilized to pay for items directly related to the family member’s disability.

This grant offers financial assistance to families to help maintain their family member in their home. This grant is specifically targeted towards individuals who are on the NY CARES waitlist through OPWDD.

Transportation (Project Access)

Our transportation grant is utilized to assist families with connecting their loved one with their community. It can be used for recreation outings, visiting other family members, church services, etc. This grant also can be used by families to assist with their family member’s transportation to and from our Free-standing respite home.

Although not a Family Support Grant, CP Rochester offers Individual Support Services (ISS)

ISS funds are utilized by individuals who are living independently in the community. The funds assist an individual in meeting their financial obligations. An individual must be OPWDD eligible to qualify.
