The heated therapy pool offers physical therapy in an alternative environment. The warmth and buoyancy of the water promote movement when it is too difficult to exercise on land. The pool increases strength, decreases pain, allows for partial weight bearing and ambulation, strengthens respiratory muscles, and promotes independence.
