CP Rochester’s Day Habilitation staff support individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals and dreams. Our person centered philosophy supports a constantly changing and individual-driven curriculum.  Each person is encouraged to work in both large and small groups in order to access peer support and work with staff. Our focus is teaching skills to support both individual and group growth.

We offer a variety of classes including art (where the teacher's focus is creating art through using different mediums), adult basic education classes taught by a certified teacher, and music group conducted by a music therapist from Hochstein.  In addition, we also have volunteer connections within the community that provide opportunities for individuals attending CP Rochester's Day Habilitation, to give back.  Some of these connects are with the ABVI, Salvation Army, Elks and Foodlink.

"As a parent of a young man with special needs, we are grateful for the opportunities available to him and we're proud of his accomplishments.  The numerous services offered at CP Rochester are vital to the health and well being of many people like Daniel and Medicaid funding is a critical component in their continuum of care.  Despite constant challenges, Dan is enthusiastic about learning and the staff excels at providing creative tools for this success.  The contentment and security at his Group Home and his friendships at the Day Program give him assurance that he's not only a member of our family, but belongs to another caring family at CP Rochester."

- Jane Roach, mother of Daniel Roach
