Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Run for Fun 2009 a success! The enthusiasm and dedication everyone has show in opening doors for people with disabilities has warmed our hearts.  This year’s Run for Fun has raised over $37,000! 

A very special thank you to our friends at Wilson Farms/ Sugarcreek stores in the Rochester area sold footprints, had cookouts, carwashes, one store even brought Santa!!  Not only did staff volunteer their personal time and resources, they worked with the staff and consumers at CP Rochester to cheer each other on during the day’s festivities (pie throwing, dunking booth, cookout…) which also brought in much money. 

We also sincerely thank each of the volunteers who made our event run smooth and efficient.  Without volunteers we would not be able to function nearly as proficiently!  Thank you!

Proceeds will fund our Fitness and Wellness Center which will be furnished with state-of-the-art equipment where therapists, teachers and recreation/fitness personnel will work with people with physical disabilities or medical needs.  Plans for increasing strength and stamina and establishing life-long wellness goals and healthy lifestyles will be personalized for each individual’s needs.
