CP Rochester's Community Recreation Program provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities (and their families) to develop lifetime recreation skills and interests. What makes CP Rochester unique is that most of our programs and events are out in the community. We offer opportunities for individual and group interaction, as well as programs which incorporate instruction and skill development such as individual swimming lessons, fitness, and fine arts programs. We are always looking for new friends to join us! If transportation is an issue, we may be able to assist through Project Access.

The SportsNet program provides adults and children with disabilities the opportunity to explore adaptive sports and inclusive recreation. Activities include cycling, golf, canoeing, hockey, basketball, and more.

SportsNet is a partnership among Rochester Rehabilitation, CP Rochester, and the Al Sigl Community of Agencies. This partnership enhances SportsNet’s offerings and provide a greater selection of adaptive sports and inclusive recreation opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Programs such as CP Rochester’s Shared Ski Adventures are part of the wide array of activities offered through SportsNet.
