Day, evening, overnight, weekend shifts vary based on program and location

Job Purpose and Primary Duties
- Provides direct personal care to consumers receiving services from CP Rochester
- Assists in consumer personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, care for consumer belongings, room cleaning, and other daily living skills
- Creates opportunities for, and encourages individuals to develop skills in recreation/leisure/hobbies, home management, social/interpersonal and other skill areas while developing relationships in the community
- Completes appropriate documentation as required by and in coordination with regulations and agency policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One-year experience and/or education in Human Services preferred
- Valid NYS Driver's License if required by program
- Ability to become CPR and First Aid certified and meet all agency and program required training
- Ability to perform all essential job functions
