Shared Ski Adventures
Shared Ski Adventures is CP Rochester's adaptive learn-to-ski program held at Swain Ski Resort which helps adults and children with disabilities become independent skiers. The instructors help optimistic and adventurous students (who are cognitively disabled or possess mobility, hearing, or vision impairments) learn to ski. How? By focusing on abilities, not disabilities. Both the student and instructors benefit from the Shared Ski Adventures by sharing in a safe activity which promotes physical, mental, and emotional growth.
