CP Rochester’s Augustin Children’s Center is an accessible, modern, fully-staffed, and well-equipped facility. It is both an award-winning early intervention facility for children with disabilities from birth to age three, as well as a preschool for children with and without disabilities from age three to five. The Center boasts a number of features not offered by other providers such as a warm-water indoor pool, large gymnasium with stage, outdoor exploratory classroom, large playground with ‘safe surface,’ and fully integrated classrooms and programs. Offering support and guidance to the entire family, CP Rochester’s Augustin Children’s Center builds a foundation for success in a nurturing environment through quality education and therapeutic services.

Programs at the Center are designed to enable all children to take full advantage of their educational and growth potential, regardless of ability. The developmentallyappropriate curriculum addresses each child’s individual needs. Activities are properly adapted to each child’s abilities and interests, supporting the areas of communication, physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Children are given the opportunity to imagine, learn, and problem-solve within an interactive, stimulating, and challenging environment. Experiences in art, music, reading, language, social development, large/small muscle development, as well as a nutritionally-balanced snack are offered. Music, gym, and pool times are offered weekly and are a highlight of every child’s day. Independence is always encouraged.
