Volunteers at CP Rochester supplement and extend the activities and mission of the entire agency. Working together with staff, they perform specific duties and functions to increase the effectiveness of the agencies human and physical resources. Volunteer energy fuels all levels of events and fund-raising committees. Volunteer time is considered by the organization to be a valuable resource. We pledge to consistently work to respect a volunteer’s contribution. All volunteers can be assured that their efforts made a difference.

The volunteer program is designed to meet the needs and interests of both the volunteer and CP Rochester. It receives full endorsement from management, staff and the Board of Directors. Our volunteers are recognized as part of the team working to meet the goals and mission of the organization. If you are aged 13 or older, we may have an opportunity for you. Listed are samples of ways that you an support our many programs…

Testimony from a College
Students Prespective

"I cannot say enough about how much CP Rochester has impacted my life and opened my eyes to a whole new community I did not know existed.
I believe that CP Rochester was the one of the best Service-Learning sites that was offered in my class and I am so thankful that I was able to give something back to such a great organization. Also, being able to work within this community was an awesome experience that I am lucky to have had, because without this type of Service Learning class I would not have had this opportunity due to my major."
