CP Rochester celebrates National Volunteer Week! This week was established in 1974 by Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. During this week, CP Rochester highlights several of our volunteers who give so much of their time and talents to serve individuals with disabilities. Thank you to all of them! Volunteers at CP Rochester complement and extend the activities and mission of the entire agency. Working together with staff, they perform specific duties and functions to increase the effectiveness of CP Rochester's human and physical resources. Volunteer energy fuels all levels of events and fundraising committees. Volunteer time is considered to be a valuable resource; we pledge to consistently work to respect every volunteer’s contribution. All volunteers can be assured their efforts made a difference!

CP Rochester's volunteer program is designed to meet the needs and interests of both the volunteer and
the agency. It receives full endorsement from management, staff, and the Board of Directors. Our volunteers are recognized as part of the team, working to meet the goals and mission of the organization. If you are 13 years old or older, we may have an opportunity for you!

"I cannot say enough about how much CP Rochester has impacted my life and opened my eyes to a whole new community I did not know existed. I believe that CP Rochester was the one of the best Service-Learning sites that was offered in my class and I am so thankful that I was able to give something back to such a great organization. Also, being able to work within this community was an awesome experience that I am lucky to have had, because without this type of Service Learning class I would not have had this opportunity due to my major."
